Michael A. Mobley

With over 20 years of experience in finance, strategic planning and business operations, Michael A. Mobley is currently Executive Director of J-Ref (Jim Rouse Entrepreneurial Fund, Inc.). He has been a leader in various philanthropic organizations in Ohio and Washington, D.C. including the Great Lakes Science Center, Pennvisions Dance Company, Cleveland Life, and Sarah’s Circle. Currently, Mr. Mobley is the host and commentator of “Down to Business,” a monthly cable television program discussing business issues and profiling local entrepreneurs. In the past, he was the host and commentator for the “Down to Business” program on Minority Business and Entrepreneurs in Cleveland, OH. He is a graduate of Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

 Filomena Califano, Ph.D.

 Dr. Califano is currently Assistant Professor of Chemistry and Physics at the St. Francis College in New York. She is the author of several publications in these areas and did her postdoctoral research in bio-chemical engineering and molecular biology. She has extensive experience as a lecturer and professor at institutions such as the National Institute of Technology, Kingsborough Community College, and the Sophie Davis Medical School. Dr. Califano is also Outreach and Learning Skills Supervisor for The Sophie Davis School, Bridge to College Program. Every year this program helps 70 upwardly mobile African-American and Hispanic high school students gain entry to the Sophie Davis School with a full scholarship. In her native country of Italy, she worked as a process engineer for Birra Peroni. Dr. Califano is a graduate of City University of New York (CUNY), with postdoctoral positions at CUNY and Princeton University.
